Lillith, c. 2001 - 6 1/2" x 13 1/2" handpainted and decorated shadowbox, The 'faery
queen' is made of a cast paperclay head and seperate shoulderplate, cover in wool crepe
and painted. She is couiffed in a tibetan lamb wig, ephemeral faery dress and carries pink
roses. She is seated on a background of dark brown velvet and red velvet and cotton
fabric toadstool, trimmed with glass beads.The shadowbox is lined in a brown, wooded
cotton print. It's exterior is sponge painted on top of a leaf and thorn design. Magic, truly!
